Hello Brooklyn is a hip-hop and pop band from New York City. Since the band's creation in 2011, many talented musicians have helped shape and mold Hello Brooklyn's sound into its signature energetic singalong dance party that performs over 100 times per year. The band is fronted by lead vocalist Liz R. (NYU/Columbia) and keyboard / saxophone / rapper Ray Ramos (Villanova). The duo is currently starting their 5th year together on stage. Drummer Jeff Hatcher (NYU) has been with the band since March 2013. Anthony Rubbo (Montclair University/NYU) returns to the band in 2016 after spending the past year on tour with Ryn Weaver. Karl Markgraf (University of Northern Colorado) joined the band on bass in November 2015. We would like to say thank you to everyone that has been a part of this collective over the years. We've had some seriously amazing musicians come into our lives and we are grateful for their friendships. And of course we love getting to meet new people from club owners and bartenders, to sound crews and bouncers, this experience has fostered lifelong relationships. And to our friends, families and fans who continue to come out and see us... we thank and love all of you for your support and encouragement. While we take the quality of our show seriously, we never take ourselves too seriously... and that's what makes this whole thing so much fun. Our band could be playing in front of 500 people or 50 people and we will put the same effort into our show because we just love playing music. We just want to hangout and have a good time... to entertain you... to entertain us... and for the couple of hours that we are on stage and together partying with you the only thing that truly matters is that we're all feeling good and living a little out loud. Come out to a show and do what we do, let it all out. No stress... no drama... no worries and just follow our lead and scream and dance dance away! Liz, Ray, Jeff, Anthony & Karl Hello Brooklyn
