Melbourne Central is overhauling the 'tourist selfie', launching a uniquely Melbourne free-of-charge digital photo booth which will allow visitors to capture lasting memories at the city’s many iconic destinations in just one spot.
Located in-centre on Level 1 next to Shot Tower Square, visitors to the heritage-rich corner of the CBD will be able to select their desired background, strike a pose and instantly share their shots with friends and family via email and social media.
The photo booth will celebrate Melbourne Central's intrinsic connection to the fabric of Melbourne's laneways, cityscapes and architecture featuring a selection of backdrops including the precinct's famous Coops Shot Tower and glass cone with more iconic Melbourne backdrops to be added over the coming months.
Melbourne Central is calling for local Melburnians to get involved too, encouraging them to explore their own backyard and celebrate this unique, culturally rich city by snapping a photo with friends and family.
