The saga and legend of Fozzy began in 1999 in the backstage area at the Alamodome in San Antonio at a WCW show...that was the day that Chris Jericho met Rich Ward of Stuck Mojo. Starting off as cover band and playing classics from the likes of Judas Priest and Iron Maiden, Fozzy released their debut album in 2000, simply entitled Fozzy. As the success of the band grew, 2002 saw the release of Happenstance which featured original tracks such as To Kill A Stranger and With The Fire. With these proving to be more popular than the cover songs at their live shows, the band decided to pursue a different direction and release an album of completely new material. This album was two years in the making and in January 2005, All That Remains was released with a full touring schedule to support it. Their immense popularity in the UK have seen them sell out every show they've played there - including the London Astoria. They were also asked to perform at Donington's Download Festival and their popularity has risen so much that have returned to the UK on five separate occasions, culminating in over 40 gigs in the last year. In between all of this, they played shows in Germany, Ireland and had a tour of Australia last September before heading back home to play the US and Canada. If you thought this past year was eventful.... then you ain't seen nothin' yet!!
