As a child, I grew up around music. My Father was an evangelist as well as a singer/guitar player and my mother was a bass player. I began singing at age 12 and I was a member of my church gospel choir (Good News Choir). At 14 I was enrolled in LaGuardia high school of music, art and performing arts. Before rapping I was singing. Trained by some great musicians and vocal instructors in sightsinging and performance, I have had the privelage of singing and composing a diverse selection of genres ranging from classical to jazz to r&b to gospel to rap. Also trained in music theory, I attained alot of musical knowledge. This all helped when i started picking up the craft of rap (I call it a craft because it's an artform I truly hold close to my heart). I never would've thought that I'd be rapping and performing at HipHop shows, freestyling/battling outside in the middle of times square on friday nights or ministering in front of crowds of young people who desperately seek an answer. The truth is what I give, the Truth is what they desire. Being the son of an evangelist (now Pastor) had its up's and down's. Every body I knew figured that since I was the Pastors son that I was a \"goody two shoes\". Unfortunately they were wrong. I've had my share of trials and tribulations and I am thankful to God that he has brought me a MIGHTY long way. I have played the role of \"Christian\" so that people would be pleased but in reality my life was going no where. I want my music to be an inspiration to all who listen to it. I want my music to be heard around the world and affect both young and old audiences alike. I want GOD to be glorified. So if you're tired of the same boring Hip Hop, then come over to this side... I Know You're Gonna Love It.....
