Infamous music promoter Bill Graham established many fine music venues in San Francisco, but none of them quite like Shoreline Amphitheatre. Located in the South Bay city of Mountain View, Shoreline Amphitheatre schedules some of mainstream music's most popular performers and festivals. The spacious outdoor amphitheater provides supreme comfort in both the reserved and lawn seating, and its many amenities leave nothing off the checklist for a great night of live music.
Shoreline Amphitheatre was opened in 1986 as part of a project to turn the Shoreline landfill into a massive, entertaining park. Graham designed the amphitheater to look like The Grateful Dead's trademark "steal your face" image when viewed aerially (which it sort of does). Since that time, Shoreline Amphitheatre has scheduled performances by The Dave Matthews Band and The Grateful Dead, as well as the Vans Warped Tour, Mayhem Festival, Lollapalooza, and Ozzfest. These amazing performances are accompanied by the natural, scenic beauty of Shoreline Park, and by the many food, beverage, and other booths at Shoreline Amphitheatre.
A schedule of upcoming performers and links to tickets are available above, so buy your tickets and head on down to Mount View for a unique venue and fantastic evening of live music.

The setup of the arena is nice but......... I wish they had better arrangements for seating people with disabilities.
I had the worst time at the Brad Paisey concert recently.
I missed the first two acts and most of Brad,......waiting for someone to assist me....
They gave me a headset, I ran back to concert to listen......the headset didn't work!
I had to run back to the office......
They gave me another, headset, I ran back to concert to see if it worked.......it didn't.
I had to run back to office again!!!
Then they said they would try to find me a better seat, but they kept telling me my seat was good....
It may have been good for someone who can hear!
I can't hear that well.......I read lips very well though.
I waited for quite sometime, only to to have them say "your seat is a good seat,it is the best that is available.
Needless to say they were of NO HELP WHAT SO EVER"!"
I noticed alot of people standing near the stage,so I headed down there, only to be stopped by an usher......yet he let a group of young girls go down????
I also saw empty seats, tried to get them to seat me in one of them, again "NO HELP!"
I went back to my seat.got to hear 7 songs, then the show ended!!!!!!!
I am not happy with them at all!!!
I will not be attending any concerts there, until they get better seating for people who are disabled..... 2009-10-02 10:08:37
