The O2 London is an impressive entertainment district located in the city's Greenwich Peninsula area. Formerly known and sometimes still referred to as the Millennium Dome, The O2 London is easily recognised by its distinctive dome-like shape - a legacy of that original venue. June 24, 2007 saw the official reopening of the O2 London to the public, Bon Jovi marking the occasion with a 20,000 capacity O2 London concert.
In addition to the O2 Arena, the O2 London is home to several different entertainment environments including the slightly more intimate, 2,410 capacity indigO2 live music performance space, the O2 Bubble for large-scale exhibitions, an 11-screen multiplex, a nightclub, numerous bars and restaurants, and more all of which secure the place of the O2 Arena London amongst the worlds leading entertainment districts.
Since the venue's reopening, the O2 London schedule has featured some of the biggest names in entertainment, from Tom Jones, Kylie Minogue, Lady Gaga and Madonna, to Prince, The Spice Girls and Led Zeppelin, whose O2 London concert was the band's first gig in 25 years. In addition to concerts, O2 London events include those from the worlds of sport and stand-up comedy, as well as numerous exhibitions and family events. WWEs Raw and SmackDown, the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships and a live show by Cesar Milan of The Dog Whisperer fame are just a few of the non-musical events which have taken place at the O2 London in recent years.

O2 is the hothouse venue now and it's the best anyone musician would dream of playing anyway. Think of it as the perfect venue to perform. Some day my musicians shall perform at O2. Or could I be speaking too soon? Anyway, we love O2, don't we? 2011-05-19 16:32:23
